Co-op Program Overview

Responsibilities
• Leverage third-party screening technology to review and assess third parties for potential legal, regulatory or reputational risks
• Conduct surveillance of electronic communications and escalate potential findings to the Chief Compliance Officer
• Coordinate on ad hoc deliverables across multiple teams within Operational Risk and Control as well as Regulatory Compliance
• Evaluate and propose enhancements to processes across multiple teams
• Prepare and present project updates to the Head of Operational Risk and Control, Regulatory Compliance, and the Chief Compliance Officer
• Test internal controls as a part of Arrowstreet's Compliance Testing Program
• Support monitoring or compliance with our firm's compliance manual and code of ethics
• Collaborate with other Arrowstreet teams (portfolio management, legal, client reporting and trade compliance) to research compliance related matters
• Interpret data and analyze results to provide ongoing reporting to members of the Operational Risk and Control team

• Able to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments
• Comfortable following directions, collaborating with a team while at times working independently and comfortable asking questions to help further regulatory knowledge
• Able to establish effective working relationships with other team members and other stakeholders, both internal and external to Arrowstreet
• Committed to the quality of their work product and seeing assignments through to completion
• Able to problem solve and propose solutions to team members
Qualifications
• Strong academic record in the undergraduate program
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• An interest in asset management or regulatory environment and developments
The hourly wage range for this position is $21-$29 per hour.
